How did it get its title?
When I look at this painting, I see the coolness of spring rain making everything green and the promise of blue skies and bright sunshine to come.

What do I love out this piece?
I love the little flick of yellow in the top edge of the bottom scrape because it’s so different from the blues and greens of the rest of the piece. The vertical light blue stripe in the left of the top scrape almost points toward–or radiates from the bit of yellow. That feels really happy in its simplicity.
