100 Days of Prayer 100 Days of Prayer Through Colossians: a prayer guide by Molly Ovenden Buy Now Welcome to 100 Days of Prayer Through Colossians. I wrote these prayers as a way to connect with God through the last 100 days of 2025. No matter the time of year—maybe you simply want a fresh perspective this season, this might be a timely gift for you. It sure has been for me. I’m a contemplative poet and painter. Engaging with God and his Word is sometimes colourful, sometimes quiet, sometimes exciting, sometimes wordy, sometimes mundane. I hope and pray and wonder whether these prayers through the letter Paul wrote to the Colossians waaaaay back in the day might do something fresh and inspiring in you today. Bless you as you pray for 100 days in Jesus’ name. Prayer: Thank you, God, for Paul and Timothy who you sent and whose words have encouraged and shaped billions of people’s faith and lives to love and follow you. I think about a card I received from my friend and how it really blessed me. I still re-read it on low days. I wonder whose life you might want me to bless with my words of encouragement. Give me the words, LORD, that will lift [NAME]’s spirits and give me the courage to share them today. Invitation: I want to invite you to spend a moment simply noticing anything else that is on your heart–especially if it’s something from today’s reading and time of prayer. Lift this up to God in faith. Gratitude: In closing, pause to thank God for how he’s at work in your heart and life. Acknowledge his presence with you during your time of prayer today. In Jesus’ name. Let it be so. Thank you, LORD. Amen. Buy Now
